Henry Longfellow once said… “music is the universal language of mankind”.
Now more than ever before, music is being used to create a spirit of worship within a congregation as well as an intimate and personal way of communicating to God. When we truly worship God, we allow Him to come down, enter our hearts, and shine through us.
MFBC utilizes and grows the talents of our people in Youth and Adult Praise Bands; a full voiced Sanctuary Choir; and children’s choirs.
Membership in our Sanctuary Choir is open to all adults. Membership in children’s choir is open to all children age 4 thru grade 5. Praise Bands are auditioned groups.
In addition to providing and leading our regular Sunday worship services, these groups work toward presenting concerts for Christmas, Easter and other special occasions.
Our rehearsal schedule is as follows:
Sunday:
* 5:00 pm Youth Praise Band
Tuesday:
* 3:30-5:00 pm Children’s Choirs
Wednesday:
* 6:30 pm Adult Praise Band
* 7:30 pm Sanctuary Choir
